Hank Kafka, VP of Architecture for AT&T Mobility is making some shocking statements "AT&T has, a lot of runway left with HSPA and HSPA-plus, went on to imply that HSPA will continue to serve as AT&T's high-speed data network for at least another two or three years. Kafka also mentioned that WiMax will remain a niche technology, and said that no company should be using the term "4G" (which is what Sprint is calling its Xohm network).

well Mr Kafka i would worry more on restoring your speeds and service  that att mobilty once had.  by adding more towers and more backhaul instead of focusing on  going to lte. im a att customer for over 5 years now and i have seen my download speed drop pretty far. I was one of the first people  to get att's new utms  network (san diego)that they gotten from the orginal att wireless. att then  launched hsdpa ad the speeds were great  hovering around 1mbps . but with the launch of several 3g phones and att pushing there customers to buy 3g devices  it cluttered and over sold there 3g  network causing  lower bandwith and more drop calls.

please work on the current 3.5 g network before you go on to lte
