While Global recession has caused the smartphone market to hit its slowest ever level of growth. HTC is actually able to turns a profit in this market, unlike Palm or Nokia. Thanks to phones like the HTC diamond and the new Goggle phone called G1. Not only were able to turn a profit but a nice size one. In the month of November alone they saw a profit of $528.57 million. This represents a 10.8% increase on month, and a 22.1% increase on year. Nokia and Palm both posted big losses last quarter.
