what is this executives gone wild day ?

the next guy who said a little too much or should i say wrote a little to much is Russell Beattie. yep that Russell Beattie Strategic Technical Marketing Manager for nokia.in his personal blog he states (at the Churchill Club along with other executives) "personally, I gave up on Symbian a few years ago, and am still not convinced that it's a viable platform for the future" he goes on to say that niether symbian or windows mobile is the future by linux will be the new mobilty platform he also goes on to say that "First, let me say that my original thoughts on Symbian have pretty much come to pass. The OS had huge backing from Nokia and other major manufacturers, and has over the past few years completely demolished its competition in terms of raw numbers, selling roughly 30 million phones. A lot less than I would have thought, but more than any other smart phone OS. But years pass, and its time to re-look at the mobile landscape and try to guess what's going to happen over the next few years, and my gut feeling is that Linux will be the big winner" if you add this along with the recent news that nokia will no longer be invested in intellsync, but will still pushing out mail4exchange (microsoft active sync for symbian s60) it doesnt look to great for symbian in the future, with marketing executives in the own company predicting doom
