wow there was some intresting comments were made public today.
first steve ballmer (Chief Exec at Microsoft) was doing a interview with the bbc ( British Broadcasting Corporation) and was asked his thoughts on numerous things from the usa economy to other mobile phone operating systems like rim, and iphone as well a google first phone and google os. ballmer refers to it as the 'Goliath'. he also makes a intresting comment say "We probably missed the power of the advertising model, not so much the technology," he also says "There is a promise that Microsoft would take the battle to Google in search - and beat off any challenge in the field of mobile phone software". ballmer also takes shots at rim (blackberry) saying that hes pretty postive that windows will stay on top of them. i agree with the previous point because with all windows phone reguardless of the os (ppc/smartphone) you get active sync for your push email. which by the way is free (asssuming you fine a free or small fee exchange host) i use mail2web, free by the way for all my microsoft exchange services it can be found here (www.mail2web.com) basiclly when you sign up for a plan with a microsoft phone/pda all you pay for is the data plan for your cell carrier. but with rim you have to pay for the email which will cost you more for the use of their server.
